Our platform handles all transactions with the utmost security and flexibility so that different departments in your organization can have a clear view of the generated revenue.

All payment flows are handled in real-time in sync with the acquirer, so that your end-customers enjoy a smooth and hassle-free experience while buying your products and services.

Each transaction carried out by using our platform has a fee that depends on the payment method, the acquirer and the volume. Additionally, we charge 0,95% on your earned revenue once it reaches a certain threshold.

FAQs

The test account is available to you until you go live. It is therefore not time-restricted and instead is free until you decide you’re ready to take the next step. If you require a separate test environment, please talk to our sales team.

There will be additional VAT charged on the plan price.

The total amount of billing that is processed and settled via our products.

At the beginning of each month, we calculate the total settled amount from the previous month and bill you accordingly. In the case of different currencies, we use the exchange rate as defined on the date the usage is calculated.

You can cancel your contract with a three months’ notice by informing our customer support team. In case of Professional and Premium plans, the notice period duration might differ based on the agreement between you and Billwerk+.

Before you accept payments via any method you need an agreement with at least one acquirer. An acquirer is a financial institution that acts as an intermediary between you and the payment network. Billwerk+ is acquirer independent, so you are free to choose any acquirer you want. However, we are partners with multiple acquirers who offer the best rates to you based on your volume, geography, and payment method.

Given that financial transactions are involved, there are certain requirements that a merchant needs to fulfil for an acquirer to get you on board.

Certain businesses are categorized as “high risk” due to their inherent nature and due to the likelihood of a higher rate of transaction cancellations, rejections, and chargebacks. If your business is related to the following domains, there is a high likelihood of rejection from acquirers: prescription drugs/non prescriptions drugs, vitamins etc., inbound/outbound telemarketing, travel-related arrangements, cigars, dating and escort Service, betting, lottery, casino, cyberlockers, remote file sharing services, digital goods for games, non-financial institutions involved in foreign currency, debt repayment and crypto currency.

However, if you encounter any issues, feel free to contact us since we do partner with acquirers that might work with you under specific additional terms, conditions, and charges.

Getting the acquirer agreement is a process between you and the acquirer. For Billwerk+ Optimize and Pay, we have automated almost the entire process. However, there could still be delays due to compliance checks and ensuring that all the documentation is in place. During the acquirer process, you can still continue to configure your account.

Payouts can only be processed after the final approval from the acquirer. In case certain payments have been processed in the interim and your application is rejected, you stand to forfeit your earnings.
