The payment gateway solution provides plug-ins that can be integrated with the most widely used e-commerce platforms, allowing customers to use their preferred payment method.

From contract creation to renewals, upgrades and downgrades to invoices, payments and outstanding receivables – the combination of billwerk and Reepay allows you to do it all with one provider and one point of contact.

Reepay’s subscription billing platform made it easy to make changes to customers’ subscriptions and that has not changed. These include upgrading and downgrading a customer and the associated communication and billing, applying discounts or vouchers, parallel price adjustments and debiting additional costs, pausing a subscription or cancellations, and other features.

Billwerk+ is also able to intelligently validate the billing process, just like Reepay. For example, before payday, the payment method is tested to alert the customer to errors, if any. If a transaction is unsuccessful as a result, an error code is generated that can be analyzed. If the transaction is unsuccessful, the dunning process begins.

Reepay was also designed to work with a wide range of payment services and ERP and CRM systems, and to comply with European regulations, so does Billwerk+ too.

As a payment gateway, Reepay covered a wide range of payment methods. Reepay was a leading Danish cloud-based payment gateway for managing payment processes and subscription contracts. Reepay  was founded in 2015 by Robert Mygind and Ole Borup.  The company was a subscription management platform and payment gateway for all aspects of running a webshop or subscription business.

On 2 October 2021, billwerk and Reepay announced their merger with the aim of forming a scalable subscription management and payment software product suitable for all sizes of business.

Reepay, which serves as an all-in-one billing solution and payment gateway, is particularly specialised for smaller companies. It thus complements billwerk’s offering, which focuses on more complex subscription management solutions. In addition, Reepay’s strong presence in the Nordic region will consolidate billwerk’s existing position in the DACH market and further drive the subscription business in Europe. The group’s solutions are also designed to integrate with a wide range of payment services and ERP and CRM systems and comply with European regulations.
